I've been under a lot of stress recently, with school and trying to make what feels like huge, life-altering decisions, so I've had a lot on my mind. this morning I had this dream, and woke up suddenly at the end, slightly alarmed at my dream.
I'm pregnant, and giving birth to a litter of many cats, which in the dream wasn't alarming or unusual at all. everything was going as planned, and I don't remember being in pain at all. there are people gathered around me, helping, but I'm not in a hospital, I think I'm at home. After I'm done giving birth to my litter, I'm lying down, exhausted, when we realize that one kitten hasn't been born yet and is still stuck inside me. but the kitten isn't in my uterus, it is in my wrist/arm, and is trying to claw its way out. my left wrist looks like one of those early 80s horror movie effects, with the flesh poking out and claws clearly stretching it. my friends and I are really startled and freaked out, and I quickly become panicked, not that the kitten is in my wrist, but that its clawing its way out and I don't know how to help it. a male friend whose identity is now blurry steps in to help me, and grabs a thick knife to cut my wrist so the kitten can come out. I become really scared and nervous because I just know its going to hurt so bad! I look away, and my friend grabs the pinky on my other hand, pinching it really hard to focus the pain somewhere else. with my eyes closed and my face turned away, I can picture the knife cutting my wrist and blood slowly dribbling out, but I wake up right before he cuts me.
I also had a dream I was in a kitchen of some sort, and someone was cooking breakfast, like bacon or something, and there are all of these full grown cats. I'm having trouble breathing and am gasping for breath because I'm allergic to cats (true in real life) and my asthma is really acting up, like to the point of my lungs closing. then I woke up.

Tarantula vs. Giant Ladybug
I was riding in a motor home/VW bus with some friends. My ex-coworker RS was driving. There were animals hanging out in the vehicle--mostly cats and small dogs. Then we started talking about how much RS hated spiders, and suddenly, I noticed a small tarantula in a web near the front. I told him not to look. Then a 6" long ladybug appeared on the floor. It was crazy huge! The spider decided it was lunch time, got out of its web, and attacked the ladybug, right under my feet. The ladybug fought back though, and made this crazy rattling wing-shaky sound. I got really excited, and started shooting video of it with my digital camera to put on youtube. They fought all over the floor and the ladybug hid under RS's feet while he was still driving. The spider sort of disappeared for a short while, then was crawling on RS's arm! He was freaking out, but kept the bus under control so we didn't all die. Then the spider found the ladybug, and they moved somewhere else, and that's when a cat broke up the fight, and started stalking the ladybug.
In an earlier dream, I remember only one little clip: I was by a rocky beach, on the road and there was a short stone wall in front of me. On the wall were a collection of cute animals. One of them was a baby chick. At the bottom of the wall amongst the rocks, were a bunch of ratty old cats. I was petting the baby chick, then decided to push it off the wall, into the rocks below. One of the cats attacked, and I felt really awful I had pushed the poor little defenseless chickie. Then the cats started fighting over the baby chicken and I tried to rescue it.
...and that's all I remember.
